Bohemian Gypsy Cobs - Fluffy Ponies for Kids and Grownies!
Spring foaling season 2010 is under way; this year, Lexington has sired several girls already; a black filly, a bay roan filly, a blue roan filly and a piebald filly.  There are several pictures now on Facebook; join us there!  Search for Gypsy Pony.

Our first colt was born 4/30/10 and he is a good'un, and not necessarily for sale!

Bay Roan colt reg. half Welsh
See his updated pictures below.
His mom is a gorgeous proper welsh cob pony mare, registered purebred and reluctantly offered for sale, in foal to Lexington for April 2010.  She is green broke and spent her 3yo season showing 4H walk/trot.  A real buy at $2000.
See Shealyn's pedigree at:
More pics of Shealyn on webshots album with her 2009 colt, at link that follows:

Early August, 2009 the bay roan colt is over 3months old now.  The piebald 2yo filly is Dolly who is about 50 inches tall now.  The colt should be a similar quality and size...13 hands of perfection!

This colt is an excellent sport pony prospect; he is registrable half welsh/half gypsy cob.

Just a casual shot, not cleaned up for showing but I think their quality shines thru...the b/w filly's mom is the same as the 2yo filly above, and she is proving to produce superior daughters.  I expect this girl to mature at least 13.2 hands.  She has better feather than the bay roan colt beside her and bone to spare.

Here is Blossom 6 months old behind her blue roan momma (sis' head coming up to be petted).  She has feather starting from the knees/hocks and down to heavy fetlocks.  But most importantly, she is perfect sport pony quality.

Update January 2010:  Arctic Spring shines as a calendar girl:

(beautiful gypsy horse calendars available from us directly $5/each)

Arctic Spring is gentle broke to ride direct rein English/western walk/trot and will make a great 14.1 hands youth or quiet adult mount and show prospect with further arena work.  She is great for trail riding already.  As a broodmare she offers homozygous tobiano genes!

Arctic Spring's sire is a son of the famous Lenny Horse now at Desert Jewel in AZ. Spring's mom is a half sister to the Lottery Horse. Spring has an album at webshots:

This is Lexington's first purebred foal
We think he has done very well, with a big, strong and athletic looking colt estimated to mature 14 hands. Currently mom Spring is available for sale. Spring is well started under saddle and has the best of temperaments and conformation.

Fun pics from 2008:

The kids were bored between classes and goofing around as you can see, giving Pokey styrofoam ears and ribbon earrings!  Blackie just hung around during the shenanigans.

(I think they have fallen asleep!)
Blackie and Pokey are both re-homed but we like to show that horses available from us are "kid-tested and mother approved"

In fact, we are pleased that more than one person who purchased from BoHo in the last few years has returned with request for similar good horses/ponies.

Pokey, our poster child here in this group of photos,  is sold and with a wonderful new family in Oklahoma!
Pokey is a 7 year old APHA registered paint gelding 13.3 hands, foundation cowpony/reining-bred who is just the best pony this side of heaven and could do about anything his owner wants.  He has just finished six weeks at the pony club and jumped up to 2 feet.  He is a horse anybody can ride and just really takes care of who is up on his back.  Yet he's got some speed and does those flying lead changes for gymkhana events and fun shows, maybe even semi-pro pole, flag or barrel racing!  Unfortunately the BoHo kids didn't know when to quit growing and they just feel he's too small for them anymore.  I figured Pokey would be around forever but a lucky family now has their perfect all-around pony ready to go.

Pokey has excelled in "Egg and Spoon", Ribbon Race, Flags/Poles/Barrels, the usual 4H fun show stuff.

He is a great trail ride horse as well.
